i do NOT, repeat, NOT want to use Google Reader.
i had two or three gmail accounts and deleted them to centralise and organise my stuff with my mobileme family pack.
i now have two @me.com addresses, one for work, one for other stuff, and am quite happy.
hence my problem.
i use mail for RSS on my mac, i don't like adding apps that do stuff that core apps can do too.
on my iphone i use NewsStand, which has lost my feeds twice so far, meaning i've had to try to remember them and re-add them. (hopefully they'll update with support for file transfer so i can back them up)
Newsstand supports google reader for sync but as i said, i do NOT want to get a gmail account again.
i've read somewhere that you can actually push RSS feeds from your mac's mail to folders on your mobileme mail, which means they sync on the iphone and you can use Mail on the iPhone to read them, but it seemed too cumbersome to implement...
so, i'm looking for a way to do this, or at least a pair of apps (mac - iphone) that sync wirelessly without using google reader...
thanks!
