alternatives to Music app that can show long titles

Hi everyone,

I asked this question a few month back without much success, and I'm wondering if since then some new apps came out that can do what I need.

Basically, I'm looking for a music app that would work the way the stock app used to work before iOS 7. Most importantly, it should be able to display long titles. I listen to classical, and songs usually have very long titles that start exactly the same. Here's an example:

As you can see, the list of tracks is absolutely useless (by the way, this is an album purchased from iTunes).

Before iOS 7, I could tap and hold to see the full title, but not anymore. If you know an app that has this capability, I would love to hear about it.

rename them in iTunes. name them like "Brahm's 3rd mov." or something similar.

You shouldn't have to do that, the feature for seeing long titles should still be in the music app.

I was going to recommend Track 8, but it seems it has been removed from the App Store.

It has a customisable Windows Phone-like interface (which may or may not be a good thing depending on one's taste), but it scrolls any names that don't fit on screen (not just song titles).

I don't know if this will do it, but a lot of people who dislike some things with the iOS 7 Music app and like the older one seem to like Lagu: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1675178/

You shouldn't have to do that, the feature for seeing long titles should still be in the music app.

I agree: renaming just a two dozen of track may seem like a not a big deal, but I have over 13,000 tracks in my iTunes library. Who knows how many of them have to be renamed just because Apple removed a function from its software.

Looks like you are right: Track 8 is not in the app store. Also, it's Facebook page has not been updated since 2013. I guess they stopped developing the app.

It does not look like Lagu can show long titles. Thanks for the suggestion though.
