Series 7 is my first Apple Watch and I have it since almost 1 year.

From the beginning, I notice that the altimeter shows erratic numbers after going through the shower. At first, this only had an impact for a few minutes and with little consequence at altitude.

Lately I'm noticing that things have gotten worse. The altitude goes maybe from 30 meters (real altitude) to 0 or from 30 to 60 meters. And the erratic figures can vary even for more than an hour.

During that time of erratic figures, the watch can register me several floors climbed.

Even the speaker (Siri, phone calls, etc) doesn't sound as clear as it should.

I always enable water lock mode before shower. But as soon as some water gets into the watch... problems... After shower always disable and enable water lock several times.

I open this thread to confirm that what happens to me is not at all normal and that I should pull the warranty.

Thanks for answering.

I can't speak for the altimeter as I don't think I've ever bothered to look, but sometimes, depending on how fine the water droplets are, it can take a little bit of time for the speaker to completely dry out, regardless of the water eject system. I'd imagine that fine water droplets on the pressure sensor for the barometric readings will have the same phenomenon.

Thanks to xraydoc for answering.

I would appreciate any other answer. It's an easy thing to check.

Thanks again.

Same here, regarding speaker sound clarity. After swimming/showering, I used to trigger water unlock several times until no more water was ejected.
