Hello all,
I recently purchased Alto's Odyssey from the tvOS App Store. I am a fan of Alto's Adventure, and was excited to see a sequel.
Having played Odyssey almost every day for a week now, I am pretty sure I enjoy it more than Adventure. It keeps everything that is great about Adventure, while adding new things to learn and master, such as wall-riding.
Wall-riding was very frustrating when I was first trying it, there is definitely a learning curve with it. After about a week of using it, I am not only better with it, I think it is my favorite thing about the gameplay now.
The artwork and music is great like Adventure, although, I think I like the music a little better in Adventure over Odyssey.
My favorite character to use is Maya, which has to be unlocked again. I wonder if Felipe and Tupa will be back too?
My biggest complaint about Odyssey so far is the bugs, such as one where I would land a jump okay, but it says that I wrecked. It looks weird, because you don't actually fall off your board, but you continue down the hill.
I highly recommend Alto's Odyssey. It is a great game to play after working a long day just to unwind. If you liked Alto's Adventure, I am sure that you will love the sequel.
