Anyone seen this?
I just upgraded from my Macbook to a new Aluminum MBP. I use a 27" Dell display on my desk. My Macbook was connected via VGA and it worked great. No issues at all.
The MBP is connected via DVI and it works too, except after the computer has 'gone to sleep' for a few hours. (ie, shut off displays). I come back to my computer, press a button and the main display on the notebook turns on, but my monitor just sits there in power-save with the yellow light on.
Nothing I do EXCEPT unplugging and replugging the monitor from the MBP's mini-display port will turn it back on...and what a pain in the butt! All my windows move to the single display and then I need to arrange them again.
Worst part is, it is not every time, only after a few hours of being off.. overnight typically.
Between this and the trackpad-sticking problems, I'm ready to roll back to my MB :-\
