Aluminum Apple Remote teardown?

Has anyone disassembled this remote yet? It looks pretty impenetrable, I don't see any obvious seams or points of entry...would be a neat little project. Surprised iFixit hasn't done it yet either

I'm surprised Apple hasn't posted a video showing how the remote is machined from a solid block, like the MacBookPro. Its a beautiful piece.
