I know there was a topic like this for the stainless steel version but what about the gold aluminum model? The band is the thing. They call it pink sand but the pink is really subtle. I think it matches well but what do you think?

Who’s cares if you like it then wear it!

That's the one I ordered and it's fine, colours don't define your gender. If you like it wear it.

I'm talking about the sports band, by the way, not the nylon one. Yeah I think I like it even though the name pink sand through me off.

This one?

If you're a trendy guy then yes you can wear this and it'll look normal on you. If you dress conservatively though then I reckon it'll look out of place. Hard to know without seeing your usual appearance.

I like the gold case color more. I think I can get away with the band color because it is subtle.
It is subtle and fits the gold case well, but if you want a more subtle one try the Midnight blue, also fits the gold case very well.

I don't own a midnight blue band but I do have a white one just in case I don't like the one that comes with it. I think you are right that the slight pink/coral color goes well with gold. But thanks for the midnight blue suggestion! I may get one.

I bought the Gold 44mm with the Pink Sand Sport Loop, but I wouldn’t have had any problem wearing the Pink Sand sport band. I just decided that I already have a bunch of knock-off sport bands, so I went with the type of band I didn’t have.

I personally prefer the pink sand loop to the silicone band, but that's just me. I am not as taken by the gold aluminum as I am the gold stainless, but then again I am not as taken by the silver aluminum as I am the SS, but I own a silver aluminum sport. I will probably stick with the aluminum again for the S4, but I don't know... very tempted by the gold stainless.

It really comes down to what looks good on you and fits your style.

Not specifically about that band, but something to think about - my rev 2 Watch has the rose gold alu case, and i think it's awesome. I work in a bank, I don't have to dress ultra-smart - it doesn't look out of place at all. The reason I chose that case colour was because it suits my skin tone (mostly pasty northern european, but with just a hint of olive).

I think what a lot of people don't consider, especially with watches or jewellery, is whether something they are wearing suits their skin. As long as you like it, and it doesn't somehow clash horribly with your skin (I can't wear gold in general for example, it makes me look weirdly jaundiced), then go for it.

Sell the band , get another. Simples
I guess that’s what I’ll do if I don’t like it

The loop is nice but I'll stick with the sports band. I think the pink sand is subtle enough that it goes with the gold color but doesn't scream "PINK." I like the stainless steel gold color (and it comes with a stone color band which is nice) but the price includes cellular which I don't need and I'd probably prefer a lighter watch.

You can buy decent bands for around $10 on Amazon.
