Aluminum Macbook help!

I was recently using my "Rare" Aluminum Macbook when suddenly all apps closed and the computer reset to the "blue screen" as when you log in. I was using the computer at the time and it was completely random! Does anybody know about this problem? Running OSX 10.5.8 MB-AL 2.4 Core 2 Duo 4GB Apple RAM 250gb HDD

As with most problems, they aren't really problems unless they happen repeatedly.

Well, what I described happened once. But Finder and Spotlight both crash often. Spotlight crashes whenever I do a search.
