Got a 2.4ghz aluminum macbook and the whole top row of keys are out of wack. None of the buttons on the top row work from the left side up to the 'play/pause' button. From there the 'Skip' button is expose, the 'mute' button is expose for the certain application you're in, the 'volume down' button shows the desktop, and the 'volume up' button goes to dashboard. The eject key is the only button that works. What's with it? Is there anyway to fix it or do I just have to wait 'til a future firmware update fixes it?

Go to the Keyboard and Mouse preferences and uncheck "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys".

The memory may have gotten locked in the system. Try resetting the PRAM.
