I'm interested in one but curious but does the mb have the screen flickering on the lower brightness level like on the 15" and 17" mbps?

No flickering to the naked eye. But when i look at my screen with a camera i can see a slight flicker on any setting other than max. But unless you view your screen with a camera all the time you shouldn't notice =]. (Or if you have mechanical eyes :D)

Hope this helped

Steve

I know the screen flickering through looking at the camera is an effect that I've seen many times but I'm talking about the lower brightness setting that causes the slight pulsating/flickering on the backlighting that are seen on the 15" and 17" mbp.

I'm just afraid that the macbooks will exhibit these issues.

I hope not!

You know, I was in bed using my MacBook the other night with the brightness on the lowest setting and I thought that the screen was flickering. I was pretty tired though and blinked a few times and I couldn't see it anymore. Just saw this post and it made me think about it.

Never seen a single tick of flicker with my 2.0 Unibody. A camera viewing it is very different, that's due to the FPS of the camera vs. the Hz refresh of the panel.
