I have a refurb Aluminum Unibody MacBook 2.4 Ghz Intel Core Duo (July 2009) that the battery cover (not the battery) is not flush once latched. Considering what I pay for it, it should be aligned perfectly with the enclosure. It looks like a poor design issue. Has anyone else encountered this?

I've not owned that particular MacBook, but I will say that I do own a PowerBook 12" and a non-unibody MacBook Pro, and neither of their batteries line up flush with the rest of the case. As long as the computer works perfectly, I wouldn't worry about something that small...
same computer with the same "issue" just above the hdd. dont care much as i paid for OSX and not a art piece.
