I think Apple computers are counter-productive for me. I spend too much time just admiring the damn thing.

Agreed! They are built nice as this is the first MBP I have owned and it is built much better than any other laptop I have owned.

Mine is 3 years old, just out of Applecare Warranty, and the flame's still burning strong. *sigh*

My Orange 12" iBook Clamshell is still ticking! (1998)

Although my All time favourite mac is my 12" PowerBook. It's just so small, and light, and i'm not afraid to put a few scratches in it like I am for my MacBook Pro.

IMO, Macs are designed to last.

I always catch myself admiring my early 08 mbp. What can i say, it's a "classic" :)

I'll upgrade once there's a discrete card in the 13.

I love my MB. Those iBook Clamshells are lovely as well, especially considering what was on the PC side at the time.

I think its OK to admire your mac as long as u don't try and stick ur dongle into it.... I worked in Apple Store for a while and this real sicko would come into the shop and carry on about how macs were so sexy he could barely contain himself from trying to "mount the machine", yes and I am being serious....

ZOMG that's just too ridiculous to visualize!:eek:

Hahaha...I went to high school with a guy who used to say the exact same thing

Weird. My first question would be where? :D

I don't think there's room for a discrete card in the 13", you'd have to wait until discrete cards get really really small. I highly doubt that those cards will get much smaller, more realistically integrated mobile chips will just get better.

I`d have let him do it just to watch the spectacle of a grown man humping a Mac, that`s gotta break up your afternoon at work & if the police turn up all the better :D
(Just pray you don`t get the job of cleaning it afterwards!)

That's just wrong.

I still admire my Titanium PowerBook G4. I also remember Jobs's keynote on that one........:D
