I use Firefox all the time, but whenever I quit it, it never actually quits.

The browser window closes, though when you look at the dock you can see its running. And the only way to properly close it is use Force Quit.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Same issue.

Running Firefox 9.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8.

Firefox takes forever to shutdown. Typically I'll lose patience after 2-minutes or so and force-quit. Happens often. Almost (if not) daily.

Would love to hear if anyone has experienced and has a resolve for this.

Thanks!

Looks like this solution might have done the trick! Will keep you posted if otherwise, but so far so good. It even seems to launch faster. Thanks Consultant! :)
