iOS26 Beta 7. I’ve noticed twice today that the AOD is sometimes off. Fixed by a reboot but can happen again later. Anyone else?

So I didn't experience this on any of the betas, but it started happening to me about a week ago. Did you find any reason for why you were experiencing this?

"The display automatically turns off when iPhone is either face down or obstructed from view, not near a paired Apple Watch, when a CarPlay session begins, while Continuity Camera is in use, while Low Power Mode is on, while Sleep Focus is on, or at your usual bedtime."

Yup, non of that is 'on'.

Yes this happens to me. The phone is unobstructed, not in any kind of sleep or DND mode. It is face up on a table or the couch and I'm sitting right beside it. I have an apple watch on me or the watch is charging.

The phone will simply be off until i tap the screen. Happens to my old 14 Pro and now it continues on my 17 Pro.

Seems to only happen in the evening after 8pm though. Sleep start mode doesn't start until 11pm.

Super annoying, OP. I agree with you and see the same problem.

Yup pretty much how you've described it. Except this never used to happen for me until about a week ago...
