Always on display?

anyone think Apple will release an always on display like Samsung has?

Personally, if OLED does exist this coming September, it very well could implement an always on display. Similar to what the Apple Watch could potentially have as well. But in all likelihood, I'm not sure if Apple will go this route or not. I do think OLED is completely capable of supporting always on display.

They might do it but not this year. They will probably tout it as a great new feature in a few years.
