Always-on-displays sometimes does not work on watch 7

Anybody having issues with Always-on-displays sometimes not working?

Sometimes the screen just go black, and I have to go to the setting and turn off/on the AOD on to make it work again.

Could this be a bug? Or is there a situation where AOD does not work?
