iOS Always-On VPN with exceptions?

I'm trying to provision an iPhone with Always-On VPN, but allow certain application exceptions like Apple's Remote, some LAN-testing apps, etc. Right now, all of the traffic that's destined for the LAN gets routed through the VPN with Always-On VPN (understandably), so I'm wondering if there's a possibility to create an exceptions list for apps in the profile? Thanks!
