in iTunes whenever your playing music in a certain tab (i.e. Music or Recently Added) and you switch to a different tab, the pause button changes to a stop button. this is really annoying when windows freezes up takes forever to switch tabs especially when i'm browsing the iTunes store and i just want to pause it to read a description really quick. but my question is, is there any way to always show pause, even if you have to edit any .plist?

I know what you mean. It is rather annoying especially when you listen to a preview in the iTunes Store and you need to find your spot again.

reading app/movie descriptions. i can't read much with music playing (that's just how i am) so i would just like to pause it really quick, read it, then play it again.
