Am I Covered?

Have got a problem with my Macbook Charger, every so often it doesn't work, in the block of the charger where the power cord connects there a gap and like half the time my charger works fine, but every couple of days it'll stop working and i have to unplug the power cord bit and plug it back in about 5-10 times before I can get it to charge, the laptop is about 2 months old. I'm not sure If I'm covered because it's a physical defect, but its been like it since I bought the laptop?
