Am I the only one (hence crazy if I actually am the only one) who heard the woman say "you can still charge through the lightning ports" in the live event after talking about the magsafe connector?

I checked on the event video now officially poster on youtube and she now says "you can still charge through via the thunderbolt ports"

I heard this also and would prefer if I could still also charge with USB-C cable (realize it won't be fast charging)

Very happy that its still possible to charge with thunderbolt since i invested in a thunderbolt dock and like working with only one cable attached to charge and drive my two external displays.

I'm curious to see what happens if you plug both charger (USB-C and magsafe) at the same time? And which one provides more power and/or faster charge speed.

Yes, I heard it too. Given the new MagSafe 3 charging cable has USB-C on the other end (that plugs into the brick), you should be able to just bring a separate USB-C to USB-C cable with you and the same charging brick, and if you have to charge on the other side of your MBP, you can plug it into the right-side TB4 port.

Very glad you can also use the TB ports for charging. Just don't understand the Notch, I can't believe it. I'm in shock.
