Am I crazy or is my uMBP more stable with the integrated graphics on and not the GPU

Its seems that every time I get issues of freezing up, locking ect…, the GPU on my 17 inch unibody MBP is turned on. Has anyone else noticed this?

I’m running 10.6.2, perhaps that has something to do with it.
