Am I eligible for an upgrade?

Hi all,

I'm with O2, and wanted to know if I was eligible for an upgrade before going into the store and waiting around for hours on end.

I bought the iPhone 2G around the time it came out, and I'm on an 18 month contract. My contract is the £35 one, though it has come down now with the drop in VAT.

Unless O2 subsidized the phone (which AT&T didn't do in the US for the 2G phone) then yes, you are eligible. It was $400 at the time.
