Hi I bought my unibody macbook on Jun 2nd, 2009 and the person at the apple store refused to exchange my macbook for the new ones and said I had to pay a restocking fee for something that is 100$ less which really pissed me off. I had my receipt and original packaging with half the things still with its original plastic.

The snow leopard thing is Jun 8th and I am wondering if I will be able to get it for the discount. If I can't get it for the discount then what can I get it for and how? They said you have to have leopard and I have leopard so I really don't know what to do. Thank you so much :)

The upgrade price from Leopard is $29

I assume you received a new receipt if you exchanged the uMB for the new MBP. (Sorry can't tell from your post if you actually exchanged.) If your purchase date is on or after June 8, 2009, you can upgrade to SL for $9.95 by going here. You must do this before December 26, 2009. If your purchase date is before June 8, 2009 you will have to wait until it hits the store and it will be $29.

wait, i was given my macbook from my brother in law because he upgraded,
i have no receipts or registration stuff besides wat would be listed on my computer

so how can I upgrade?

If Leopard is installed on the computer, you will be able to use the $29 upgrade to Snow Leopard. You will not need a receipt for that.
