I have 4 2m Apple charging cables, the 1m cable that came with the new M1 12.9" iPad, and a short 6 inch TB cable for my external SSD.

Is there any way to get faster than USB2 speeds from my new iPad to my Mac without buying a TB cable? Wireless is a no go. The 6 inch TB cable that I have is the only one that works. It would have been nice if the cable that came in my $1100 TB iPad would have been the $39 TB from Apple.

Any 3rd party recommendations? Bellini makes one for $35, but at the may price I will just get an Apple one.

I’ve been using my stash of Caldigit T3 / USB-3 0.8m cables and it’s worked flawlessly with my ‘21 IPP 12.9 - picked it up on sale for $25 last year. Looks like they updated to new T4 / USB4 0.8
