Am I saying this wrong or is there another way?

Every time I tell Siri to send a text to mom I say it like this

"send mom a text blah blah"

Siri always thinks I'm saying "mama" instead of mom

Anyway to fix this?

of course you have to set the relationship for your mom first

say a as in "ay" not "uh", or use mother unstead of Mom

You can also give your mom the nickname "moma", this way it'll send her the text.

Most likely it's because you've put 'mom a' together.

I usually say 'Text (person) that ...'
