I don't connect my iPod touch to my computer very often, so when my HD crashed on my old laptop, I didn't think much of it. That was a few months ago. Since then, I have purchased some apps and TV shows on my touch. Also, there is a few audio books on there.

Now that I want to sync it to my new computer, iTunes wants to delete all the stuff off my iPod first. Is there anything I can do about this? It just seems odd to me that I would loose all my stuff on my iPod that isn't already in iTunes.

Thanks. Found an app to help with all but the Apps. My search continues for that. I guess now I know to backup my backup!

In Itunes, there is an option for "transfer purchases" and it copies all your apps to the machine running iTunes.
