Is it just me, or is it that when Apple went PB G4 >MBP and MBP > Unibody MBP, they decreased in thinness all the time, and yet... made up for it in increased width and depth?

In the case of the original 15" MBP the display aspect ratio change from 3:2 to 16:10 was partly responsible for the change in dimensions.

This time around the bezel actually got wider. :(

The year 2045 Macbook Pro will be 8 feet wide and 5 feet tall, but only an 1/8th of an inch thick!

 :D :D now that is funny!

I don't mind it getting any bigger, for now at least, because it is a matter of tenths of inches. Not really a big deal to me, but I would understand the frustration of someone who just bought a brand new bag and it wont fit. Not cool.
