I haven't had to do that, but they will also require a deposit if you have bad credit.

Your paying $299+tax for the iPhone just like everyone else.
Your downfall is AT&T wants a $500 depo for service. Not bad since depo's range from $250 to $1000

NO ONE made you buy an iPhone, you chose to do so on your own accord.
