Amaya is available now under Linux, and will run with much difficulty under X11 - well, an obsolete version will.

I think that having a native (or at least an easily installed) version of the current Amaya would really get some people interested in the Mac - imagine being able to avoid not only $300 investment in a buggy, slow Macromedia/Adobe product, but getting off the upgrade treadmill as well!

Is anyone out there who can work on Amaya for OS X? Or perhaps get Apple interested? I don't think Apple owes anything to "Mac Acrobat is handicapped" Adobe or "Mac Versions are Slow as Molasses" Macromedia any more.
