I thought, since Star Wars Battlefront II is currently on sale on Origin ,I would see if my Mac Pro upgraded with dual 3.0 x5365, 16gb Ram, and 3gb 7950 under Windows 7 Ultimate Bootcamp could handle it and, if not, I would just request a refund within 24 hours.

Amazingly, the game is completely stable and playable. I haven't played a ton, but with about an hour in various modes, on medium settings, I seem to get stable 45-60fps in even the most demanding environments. I can even bump to high or even ultra and the game is still playable; depending on the environment, it can be as high 30-40fps, though I did see some drops into the 20s.

Regardless, it is completely playable and enjoyable. Amazing that I'm playing this on over 10 year old hardware (I originally got this 1,1 in 2007 and made various upgrades to become the current 2,1 throughout the years).

This game is very well optimized!

I had that on my PS2 many years ago. Of course it runs.... We're talking about the same one, right? Was soooo good back in 2005

No, I’m talking about the new Battlefront II that just came out about a month ago for XBONE, PS4, and PC.
