so I decided to check out some youtube videos on my iPhone and youtube was not working so I shut off my iPhone and turned it back on and the settings screen appeared and under wifi was another option it was the picture of the phone icon but in grey and it said carrier. I couldn't press the button though because it froze. I dont know what this means but it wont appear again if i turn it on. This is true and im not lieing and dont say i have a run on sentence please

Well you do have run on sentences, but thats ok, your still excited. That really is weird, and is probably a hidden setting that is always there. Have you hacked your phone at all?

Uh, are you serious? New my ass. Its the roaming setting - it comes alive when Cingular isn't available. I've used it often - it may have shown up by accident even though you were in Cingular territory due to the restart.
yeah. happened to me already.. just never posted about it. when i went on a cruise i could connect to (wireless overseas) which is a carrier in the middle of the ocean. but its expensive.. so i didnt connect lol
