I was in the States last week, and shot a short video as we took off from Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix. Yesterday I was looking through some of my pictures from the visit, and watched the video - it's absolutely stunning. I'm attaching a screen grab here from my iPhone 11 Pro Max - it's hard to believe that I captured this video at 4K60fps on the phone I have in my pocket every day. Through the window of an airplane. lol ... The video is buttery smooth thanks to the OIS, and with a little level adjustment in the stock Photos app on my phone, really pops.

Does the posted picture in Safari match what you have in photos? It certainly is amazingly clear (for Phoenix), and the wide lens really seems to work well shooting from a window even at ~175 MPH (if flying commercial). I just re-calibrated my monitor and it looks a bit HDR'ish in some of the greens, blue's and purples ....

I usually hate people uploading photographs… I just don’t see the point… But that’s really good. It is amazing what these little devices can do!

I hate the watercolor-like effect that Apple's post processing engine does to photos.

That was probably me being a bit over-aggressive in post.

Yeah, it's pretty close (looking at it on my Mac now) ... there's a fair bit of compression added to larger (or, all?) photos when you upload them here; it looks better on my Mac (in Photos.app) and way better on the phone, due to the greater pixel density I guess. But you're right - shooting through a crappy airplane window at that speed, and being able to capture a frame of video that looks that good - it's incredibly impressive, IMO.
