Its now $1139 for the base 13" mba. Plus no tax free shippin and 12 months same as cash on the amazon store card.

I paid 1194 two weeks ago at amazon. I saw the 1139 price today. The filipino customer service person wud not give me the difference. I demanded to talk to a supervisor who was also over there. Same response . Her option was return the computer. What a moron. I then called back and demanded to speak to a cr in the us. He immediatly credited me the $55.00 to my amzn store card.

OMFG, Amazon struck a deal with the Texas Comptroller to start collecting sales tax effective yesterday, July 1. MF. I buy from Amazon every other day.

They do sell refurbs, but the mid-2012 ones haven't been out long enough to have available.

bb does not sell refurbs. just open box items which cane be a good deal. usually 10 percent off or more. last year they also offered an additional $100 off. i picked up an open box 2011 mbp for 825 plus tax. just sold it for what i paid to get a 2012 base 13" mba. the mbp just wasn't portable enough. i love the mba. so light and faster than the mbp.
