I was just looking on Amazon to see if they have the Macbvok for sale (with lower shipping times than apple...they don't) and I noticed that there's an option for an "Drop and Spills Protections" warranty

There a 3 year option (281$)
And a 2 year plan (124)

I looked at the description and it says "Coverage for drops, spills and product malfunction"

I'm thinking of getting this instead of Apple Care +

Since I will be varying this device all day in the train, bus, metro, school...I think I should have a coverage for accidental stuff (which Apple does not cover)

But I've never bought an Amazon plan let alone a protection plan not sold by Apple....what do you guys think? Is it worth buying????? Thanks

Make sure you read the plan itself prior to purchase. They might have a clause hidden somewhere that says "this protection plan does not apply unless damage occurred on the second Tuesday of the fourth month during a lunar eclipse.. blah blah". Protection coverage plans are almost always worded in a way that puts the consumer at the disadvantage.
