Amazon and phone getting hot and using battery

Like the title says, out of nowhere when I use Amazon my iPhone 15PM gets hot and uses about 10% of battery every 15 minutes. I deleted, reinstalled, rebooted, updated today and still the same results. Anyone else?

I’d say something is wrong with the current version of the app. I’m not sure if there’s a way to file a bug report.

I tried it on my 14PM and it used about 6% battery in 10 minutes. The phone got hot just below the camera

I’ve noticed that too on my 13P. Same thing with Prime Video.

The Amazon app on my 16 Pro just updated. I'm wondering if those of you with the issue also updated, and did it fix the issue?

I uninstalled, reinstalled then updated. It still did it however my phone didn’t get hot but the battery still drained faster.
