Amazon Cloud player won't play

Anyone have luck playing something in safari from the Amazon Cloud player? Works fine on my iMac but won't actually play on my iPad.

The cloud player depends on flash pluggin so it doesn't work on ipad.

It's not a Flash issue. It's a deliberate lockout., which makes me wonder if there will be an app for it any time soon.

So you can use any alternative Browser which allows to change the Browser's User Agent.

eg.

-> in the Settings you can change the User Agent to Desktop Safari and everything works fine

I've seen no reports that this allows you to do anything but download/play one song at a time. That's my experience--the player says it's playing on iCab-identified-as-desktop-Safari but nothing happens.

I've found a solution to play Amazon Cloud Player on the iPhone:

Just stream it from the computer via WiFi2HiFi. Its handy when you have a sound dock and a computer in the same room.

There is a work around. It's a PITA, but it works. It is just not worth it to me to hassle with it on my iPad. It is nice on my Droid though.

You are right! WiFi2HiFi app can not only stream Amazon Cloud Player, but also
Spotify, Grooveshark and all the others. My favorite app!
