We complain a lot about bad service, so let me plug some good service. I purchased an iMac 17" 1.8 (revB) for $1294 (before $100 rebate) on 9/6 from Amazon.com, received 9/19. As we know, the new iMacs just came out, and Amazon lowered its price on the machine I bought from $1294 to $999 (before rebate). I emailed them Friday, got a generic reply about return policy (30 days by the way, you pay shipping), emailed them back about a partial refund, they emailed me back within a few hours saying they were refunding $295 to my credit card! Quite fair considering I had received my machine almost a month ago--dare I say, more reasonable than Apple's 14 day policy?
