Amazon this weekend has a pair of solid discounts on the AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2, providing up to $80 off these headphones.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Amazon. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

You can get the AirPods 4 for $89.99 (matched at Best Buy), down from $129.00, which is a match of the all-time low price on this model. This is the base model without Active Noise Cancellation.

The AirPods Pro 2 are on sale for $169.00 (matched at Best Buy), down from $249.00. Compared to previous record low prices, this is just about $20 higher, and one of the best prices we've tracked since that low price was available in July.

Both models have an estimated August 28 delivery date for most residences in the United States. If you live in a select location, and have a Prime membership, you may have access to free same-day shipping as well.

If you're on the hunt for more discounts, be sure to visit our Apple Deals roundup where we recap the best Apple-related bargains of the past week.

Update: We've updated this article to highlight a new and lower price on the AirPods 4 at Amazon.

These things are almost always on sale. I think I paid $20 more for mine a couple years ago. If the new pros are a big improvement, I’ll wait for the inevitable discount.

Is this a hint at an incoming AirPods Pro 3? Trying to decide if I should wait a month or just pick up the 2s to replace my first-gen.

Not really. As noted in the OP, they've been down as low as $149. Pretty sure they first hit $169 over a year ago.

That said, it seems more likely than not the AP3 will be released soon... and if that is the case, the best move would to wait until early next year where you'll likely find them on sale for ~$199.

Hint? It's a guy jumping around in front of you with a huge plaquard saying "Don't buy new Airpods right now!!".

Again, it's not even a slight hint. This is not the lowest price ever and it's been at this level many times over the past year. Not to mention Best Buy and Amazon do not get pre-release information... they're just as much in the dark as we are until the keynote.

Of course it behooves us all to wait to see if the AP3s will be released next month. Some rumors suggest they will be, but they've been mixed so it's not worth getting your hopes too high.

Apple won't announce AirPod Pro 3 at the iPhone event
everyone waiting, will go buy AirPod Pro 2
and then two weeks later they will do the new 3.
LOL.

*cries in European*

Even tax adjusted, the US deals on Apple products are infinitely better. Demand must be more elastic I am guessing.

The AirPods Pro are almost continuously on sale now at Amazon. That is the indication that a new model is coming.

Apple’s pricing always favours the US market over other regions. :-(

Not particularity fair but it seems to be standard policy. Apple’s dollar -> euro exchange rate always overestimates the value of the US dollar.

The better discounts offered in te US just follows on from this.

On the plus side, we get their patty app stores and a tray for a physical SIM.
