Amazon today has the USB-C AirPods Max on sale for $479.99 in every color, down from $549.00. This sale started over the weekend with just one color at this price, but now Amazon has expanded it to include all five colors of the AirPods Max.

All colors are still available to be delivered in May, with most providing a delivery estimate around May 26 for free shipping options. Prime members in certain cities should be able to see same-day delivery options.

Right now this is one of the only notable AirPods discount on Amazon. The AirPods Pro 2 are available for $199.00 this week, down from $249.00, but that's not all that close to the record low price on the model. If only the last 2 Sonys weren't half the price and twice as good. I felt like I had a clamp on my head for the brief period I owned these.
I’ve heard that people said AirPods Max were too tight on their head. I’ve also heard people say they didn’t like the weight. It doesn’t seem to bother me and I don’t feel they are tight. I have a big head so in theory it should be a thing for me.

They sound really good for Bluetooth headphones. Of course they don’t compare to a set of high-end wired headphones, but neither does the price.

I’ve never listened to Sony noise canceling headphones, but I suspect if you’re on a budget, they’re the way to go.

I just posted about hoping for a fat sale...wondering if I should pull the trigger or wait for a $400-$450 price later on this year.

I'd wait. The lightning ones went down to $400 before the USB-C ones came out. I bet they'll go down for labor day or the holidays.

I decided the ANC on my APP2s were SO bad that there was something wrong with them and was worth a shot using my AppleCare on them. The *main* thing I want is ANC at the gym and the APM probably shouldn't be used there consistently (or at all really)

I can pick up APM later for $400-$450, wait for a new version, or put that towards a home theater system
