Amazon this week continues to provide record low prices on multiple models of the new iPad mini 7, starting at $399.99 for the 128GB Wi-Fi tablet, down from $499.00. All of the deals on the iPad mini 7 in this article require you to clip an on-page coupon in order to see the discounts.

Amazon has all four colors of the 128GB Wi-Fi iPad mini 7 on sale at this all-time low price, expanding on the sale that began last week with just two colors. You can also get the 512GB Wi-Fi iPad mini 7 for $699.99, down from $799.00. We're not tracking any deals on the 256GB Wi-Fi model this time around, nor any cellular models.

Note: You won't see the deal price until checkout.

These iPad mini 7 discounts are part of Amazon's early Black Friday discounts, which also include other iPads like the 9th and 10th generation iPads, and the M2 iPad Air. You can find more information about these deals in our Best Early Black Friday iPad Deals guide, and check out our overall Best Early Black Friday Apple Deals guide for everything else currently on sale.

Must have been a glitch just for you, because I didn’t see any such price at checkout. Don’t count on Amazon honoring at that price.
After I placed the order, it went back up to $487.99 and the coupon was gone. In my haste to place the order, I forgot to switch to free shipping. That would have saved me an additional $6.99

Last I checked it’s in the shipping soon status but until it ships, you are right it could get cancelled. Typically in my experience, they will cancel those orders if you order several and the glitch has been active for sometime with hundreds or thousands of orders being placed. The fact it was corrected almost immediately gives it better odds for it to go thru.

Good luck! I hope they honor that; it'll come out of Amazon's profits, not Apple's.

And if they don't, I won't complain. I do have a business account with them so we'll see.

Edit: Shipped from Amazon

Costco currently has the 128Gb model on sale at $399.99 but adds $5 for S/H.
It currently says 'Online Only' so one needs to check with local warehouses to see when they'll receive the new Apple Mini models.

I think I’ll grab a couple!

Oh. Nevermind.

Exactly, I got excited reading the first line of the title until I saw the word discount on the second line :).

It might be a good idea for the MacRumors editors to change the title format and move the word $99 to the second line in front of discount.

I remember the OG mini selling for $199 when they launched with iOS 6. Were they sold at $99?
I don’t recall it being $99, but I do remember that $199 sales price back in… (Googles it)… 2014. That’s when I picked up my first Mini. I’m fairly-sure it was the Mini 2 that I bought, but I could be mistaken. I think it got it from Target. That was a great little device for the time.

Actually, my workplace still has some of those old Minis lying around. We have more-modern iPads as well, but we have a handful of older Minis (fully-charged) in a tablet cabinet ready to go.

$99 off on the new mini is good. Might be similarly priced or have even better discount closer to Black Friday.

Upgraded from the mini 5 on the first set of Amazon sales a few days ago, so far I like it a lot, definitely a lot faster and the battery is much better than my 5 year old device!

I was, thanks for the correction. However I remember buying a new OG iPad Mini from Walmart in 2013 shortly after Apple introduced iOS 7 and I paid $199 plus tax.

iPad Mini 2 retina came out 11 years ago, and the screens really aren’t much better …still

such a shame

The iPad mini was a nice idea because back then, smartphones weren’t pushing 7” in size. Also the iPad mini became Apple’s budget iPad because the standard retina iPad’s were still selling for a few hundred more. It’s been awhile since i’ve used an iPad mini but with my aging eyes, I doubt i’ll notice any of the complaints that are mentioned.

The only two things that bother me about a display is brightness and a warm or yellowish tint. If I can’t correct it by turning off true tone then I will send it back. The same applies if the screen is not bright enough. So far all of the iPad screens I have used, have been acceptable. I seriously doubt I will notice any jaggy AA issues at my age.

I was going to upgrade my mini 6 to a 256gb purple mini 7 and use the $77.01 coupon for $499.99, but I chose Best Buy. Best Buy price matched my mini 7 to $577 and refunded me the difference of $23.32 from their price of $599. I’m also trading in my mini 6 to for $350 bringing my 256gb mini 7 to $261.62.
