Amazon gift card purchase is broken

Just an FYI if you're an idiot like me and planned on Amazon gift cards for some people and waited until now. You can't get past the option for how to pay for the gifts with a debit card, which I have used many times in the past.

I actually have no idea how I am supposed to pay for the cards if it won't take a debit or credit card. Chat with 'customer service' is maddening quite honestly. Log out and log back in so someone else can deal with this is the way it seems to work.

Update - I downloaded the Amazon app to my iPad and gave it a whirl. Was able to send a couple of gift cards just now. Slightly buggy but it did work.

If you live in the U.S., some Walgreens and CVS stores are open today, and they carry the physical Amazon gift cards. Not the easiest option, but an option nonetheless.

Check if your ACCOUNT got locked!! sometimes this happens especially when your account is new. You should contact Customer Service!
