The new app Amazon Window Shop is selling a case for the "Apple iPhone4G (Newest Model!) Semi Hard Polymer, Crystal case (Smokey) $1.70 Sold by CE Compass" Several photos are also posted.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but how is that any different than a normal iPhone 4 case?

Well considering how many people mistakenly refer to the iPhone 4 as "4G" it isn't too surprising. Also, the iPhone 4 is the fourth generation, so it could be labeled 4G for that reason as well.

They don't know anything, iPhone 4G is what many people call the iPhone 4 (4th Generation).

If you had bothered to look at the reviews, you would have noticed that many date back as far as July of last year (2010).

Yes. Very interesting. However, I think the headline indicates Amazon is trying to outguess Apple ... or at least trying to give that illlusion they have an inside track.

As of right now the iPhone 4 (4th Generation, 4G) is the newest model, the next iPhone won't be released for another month or so. So the headline is not misleading.
