Amazon this week has introduced the first notable discounts on the Apple Watch Series 10, taking $30 off two models. We're also tracking even steeper discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 on Amazon right now.

Starting with the 42mm GPS Apple Watch Series 10 in Rose Gold Aluminum, you can get this model for $369.00 in S/M, down from $399.00. Additionally, the 46mm GPS model in Jet Black Aluminum is available for $399.00 in M/L, down from $429.00.

We've seen a few $10 discounts on the Apple Watch Series 10, some of which are still available on Amazon today, but this is the first time we're tracking a bigger markdown on the brand new wearable. No other major online retailer has a discount on the Series 10 this week, and Amazon provides an estimated delivery between September 27 and 30.

Apple Watch Ultra 2

Secondly, Amazon has further discounted the Apple Watch Ultra 2 in Black this week. You can get a few models of the Black Titanium watch for $734.89, down from $799.00. This beats the sale price we tracked over the weekend by about $15, and marks a new all-time low price for the Black Apple Watch Ultra 2.

The models on sale include the Black Titanium Case with Dark Green Alpine Loop (S) and the Black Titanium Case with Dark Green Alpine Loop (M). Both have similar delivery dates, with a range between September 26 and 30 as of writing.

Keep up with all of this week's best discounts on Apple products and related accessories in our dedicated Apple Deals roundup.

I really wanted to get an Ultra 3 this year, but will probably stick it out with my 7 for another year. $64 isn't all that enticing to me.

I wanted a Black Ultra 3 myself, but since the Ultra didn't get updated I went for last year's model. Amazon was running $110 off, Verizon was going to give me $180 for my Nike 7 as a trade but then charge me a $35 activation fee, on a watch at full price. I sold my Nike 7 on ebay and netted $131.

So the ultra 2 was originally $799, and a black ultra 2 also would have been $799.

I saved $110 plus tax, $120.73, I saved the activation fee, $35, and I received $131.63 from selling my Nike 7. About $288 in savings. I've had the Ultra 2 almost a week now and I LOVE it.

The total from Amazon was $762.93, tax and a screen protector. No activation fee, I'm all in at $631.30. If I really want black, I can always put a bumper/case on it but I'm actually liking the natural titanium, it works really well with the blue ocean band.

I paid 849€ = 950$ for my Series 10 titanium 46mm. It hurt but I just love it, and I use my Apple Watch so much. Coming from a Series 7 still a solid upgrade. And double tap is just amazing, works so well.

How did you get out of the activation fee? Just didn't activate it?

$30 off

Is that really worth even mentioning?
Yes, it is. I have a S5 and this is tempting.
That was even quicker than expected! I expect 350 for AW10 in another few weeks
Doubt it will even get that low. It could conceivably drop down to $390 or even $380 for Prime Days in October, but the latter number is a stretch.

Yea but Mac Rumors makes money of these stories though Amazon purchases so it is not a bad way to support the site.

Wow, great deal! 2-3 week shipping time though.

That's what I did. Had a little over 10,000 points and with the discount, got myself a new Series 10 (upgrading from a damaged 7) for $250 total.

I can wait a couple months for $100 off on Black Friday.

Wow, thanks for the post. I have enough rewards to pay for it and have been checking Ultimate Rewards, but they have not had watches for the past several weeks. I'm ordering now instead of waiting.

$30 isn’t worth it. I’ll buy mine at an Apple Store for peace of mind. There are two Apple Stores within easy driving distance.
in general, this is how i have always thought. ive generally always bought apple devices directly from apple. ive never bought a single apple product other than directly from apple.

but, is this just being overly cautious?

if an apple device is bought on amazon, does apple also sell apple care+ ? or, can just buy apple care + directly from apple within a fixed period of time and register it to the product by yourself?

if a person A buys an apple product from amazon, and returns it to amazon, does amazon resell this same product to person B as "new" ?

Also - If you are upgrading from an older watch, you can buy from Chase, Amazon, whatever, and separately trade in your Apple Watch for a gift card.
