Amazon Kindle App Update: Missing Store Link?

I just did an update to my Amazon Kindle app and I can't seem to find the link to the store from within the app that used to make it so easy to purchase additional books.

The link to the store used to appear at the top of the page displaying the books you own.

Am I missing it?

Do I now have to go through Safari to Amazon.com to purchase kindle books for my iPad?

IIRC, Apple's terms of service required that Amazon removed that link.

Yep. All in-app purchases must go through Apple so they can collect their toll. Not enough mark-up on Kindle books for Amazon to want to do that.

Well that explains why I thought that the kindle app was weird, for having to go through amazon to purchase books. Oh well looks like I'm sticking to ibooks.
