Amazon Music Play Pause button does not work

I recently updated to Big Sur. One thing I thought was a great idea was this media button up in the top bar. Looks like an easy way to pause and continue music. It does not seem to work, at least with Amazon Music which is the only music app I use. Anyone know if this just does not work with Amazon or how to make it so it does work?
