Amazon today has knocked the price of the 512GB MacBook Neo down to $689.99, from $799.00. This sale is only available in the Indigo color option, and it makes the 512GB model cheaper than the current price of the 256GB model on Amazon.

Still not a bad deal when you look at comparable Windows products. My granddaughter needs a PC laptop and I am dismayed at the lack of quality until you go into the high end market.

I'm still pissed that I looked at this exact model online (edu pricing) the night before the price hike, but decided to "sleep on it" first. Regardless I feel like this is as low as it's going to go this year and my wife needs one for her freelancing gig, so I might as well suck it up.

I'll just say it, screw AI. I wanted to pick up a base Neo, but then with the price hikes it's just not worth it. I also wanted to upgrade my gracefully aging 1st gen mac studio from 2022, but those are now in crazy expensive territory.
