Amazon or AppleStore ?

Hi All,
I see on Amzon UK that MacBookPro 13 is sold at 822p while on AppleStore you can buy the same model for 899p.

So what is the main reason or benefit to shop on AppleStore?

The advantage to the apple store is that you get to finally be the one every looks at with envy as you walk out with your new mac and a new printer (not sure if amazon does the printer thing)

The advantage to amazon is lower prices and no tax (at least where I am) but you have to wait for it to ship

I bought my Mac Mini from Amazon. It was on sale for $586 instead of $599 from Apple. Amazon has free shipping and no tax.

Just do the logical thing, buy it on Amazon.

The advantage of buying from Apple is if there is a problem Apple will replace the computer from any AppleStore (not just with the online store or from the AppleStore you bought it). When you don't buy from Apple they will only repair your machine. There are probably other advantages but this is a big one.

This is not always true. I bought my MBA from Mac Mall and my local Apple Store replaced it when I had problems.

Apple store, I bought from amazon and had a issue they wanted me to ship it back and wait, if i would have bought it thru apple they would have sent me a replacement overnight before i sent the other back,,, I learned something.
