Hi guys, possibly a silly question, but here goes... if I download a show from Amazon Prime, does it download directly on my iPad? Or does it go into my iTunes account?

I believe that it will stay in your AMAZON account. Definitely NOT an iTunes account. I've bought music once or twice from Amazon and i had to add it manually to my iTunes. I bit messy!
You'll need an amazon app on your iPad and you watch the download from there. It'll never cross over into your iTunes account unfortunately.
That's why i won't buy video from Amazon or Google - mind you MOST of Google Plays films are in SD only!!!! here in the UK. Even new ones.

Thanks guys. So long as I can access on my iPhone and iPad I'm happy.

Paul how did you add music to itunes?
Hey Scouser :)
Easy I just drag and dropped. I believe that I had to download the Amazon downloader, the MP3 was appeared in it when I opened it. It's a long time since i've done it - a couple of years I believe.
I only buy Amazon tracks on the off change that iTunes does not have it OR if a track is longer than 10 minutes long, iTunes doesn't sell it as an individual track BUT Google Play and Amazon do!!!!!!!!! So iTunes bad on that one - Amazon is the worst of the three on quality I guess as there files are 208ish mbps MP3 compared to iTunes 256AAC or Google's 320MP3.

I think the primary difference between music and video content is that music (mp3) is not DRM-protected.
Whereas video content is.
I do not believe iTunes could possibly access Amazon's crypto-keys to decode their DRM and vice versa.
iTunes purchased movies would also not play anywhere outside Apple universe, as only Apple owns the keys.

This won’t work for “Included with Prime” movies, but Movies Anywhere will integrate and sync your purchased movies between Amazon Video, Apple iTunes, Google Play and VUDU (Ultraviolet).

Thanks guys for the replies.

I need to take time to figure out how movies anywhere and all this UV Code stuff works. I'm totally lost by the complexities of it all. I feel old!!!!
