Guys, I tried to watch a couple of films on the Amazon Prime app last night, but both were slightly out of sync. This isn't the case if I watch itunes films.

Is anyone else having this issue? Both films were in Multichannel, and not as if they were in some obscure audio format. And one was Logan Lucky, which is a very recent film.

Are you using an AV-Receiver? I've had that problem with the amazon app on an NVidia Shield and a Denon Receiver. Because of that I switched to the AppleTV 4K when the amazon app became available on it, only to discover the sync problem existed with the ATV4K Prime App as well. So I got rid of my Denon and got a Pioneer AV-Receiver. And.... The audio is still out of sync. :D:D:( It's not out of sync when it's connected directly to the TV though. I've decided to use the amazon app that came with my TV and use ARC to the AV receiver. It's not just that the audio is out of sync with the amazon app a lot of stuff is also still in stereo with the AppleTV-App, while it's in 5.1 with the TV-App. Both issues make the Prime App on the ATV4K totally useless for me.

Yes if you have frame matching turned on ATV it will do that on Prime. It doesn't happen on Netflix. Amazon needs to update it for devices that provides frame rate matching.

Thanks guys. I'm using it with an Onkyo 3010 AVR. I'll check if I have frame rate turned on tonight.

As for updates - can you check for updates like you would on an iPhone or iPad? Or do you have to go in to each app individually to check if it's in need of an update?

I let my apps auto-update. I have turned auto-update off only for the tvOS.
As on iOS, you will notice recent updates by a blue bullet next to the app name on the home screen.

For the updates just open the App Store and go to the last tab. Anything that's updated or needs to be updated should (because I am not sure it always works) show in there. the updated apps don't seem to stay there for a long time. Maybe a week top?
