9th Gen iPad

Starting with the 2021 9th generation iPad, Amazon has the 64GB Wi-Fi model for $249.99, down from $329.00, which is a match of the previous all-time low for this tablet. The 256GB Wi-Fi model is on sale for $389.99, down from $479.00, and this one is a new record low price.

10th Gen iPad

For the newer 2022 10th generation iPad, Amazon is introducing fresh all-time low prices for both Wi-Fi models. The 64GB Wi-Fi tablet is available for $379.99, down from $449.00; and the 256GB Wi-Fi tablet is available for $529.99, down from $599.00. Both beat the previous low price by more than $20.

Any good iPad Pro 12.9 deals?

I just this week went through the process of upgrading my 2017 iPad Pro with a newer model and have been hunting for a deal for a while. The short answer is: There really aren't any, certainly nothing like the current deals on the lower models. The Pros seem to be Apple's firewall against lower margins on discounted models like the 9th gen. Even Amazon has only been offering token discounts of $10 or $20 off list.

My solution was to buy a certified refurb 2021 M1 based model direct from Apple. Decent discount relative to new ($130 on the 11" model I bought) without giving up warranty, etc. At least here in the US, there seems to be ample supply of all 2021 Pro models and sizes on the Apple Refurb site.

The only gotcha is if you've got your heart set on a current-gen M2 variety; there aren't any M2 iPad Pros in the refurb store and probably won't be for a while yet.

the m2 is a spec bump on a already OS limited environment, m1 is the way to go especially if the price difference is even somewhat significant.

Thanks for this, I appreciate it!

Is this deal over? I am finding the cheapest iPad 10, Wifi, 64 GB to be $450 almost anywhere in the US... sold by others.

Tempted with the iPad mini but it's just the 64gb version.
No, the 256 GB iPad Mini also is available discounted from Amazon right now. Today I paid $588 with tax for a 256 GB Mini to CA. I have literally been looking for years and this was the first time I found discounting on the 256 GB iPad Mini. Costco online has a similar deal costing $14 more but with a 90 day return policy.

I bought WiFi + cellular for early iPads because I used them exclusively in the field. Today however I buy WiFi only because if I do need WiFi in the field it is easy enough just to tether to the solid iPhone WiFi.
